Gingerbread energy balls
These gingerbread energy balls are a spicy little treat to fuel your training sessions.
Gingerbread energy balls
(Makes 10 balls)
Ingredients
100g almonds
100g dates
30g sultanas
1-2 tsp dried ginger powder (I use 2)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Method
Blitz all ingredients together in a food processor or blender until an even consistency is obtained.
If using a blender (eg Nutribullet) grind the nuts to a powder first, then add the dried fruit.
Roll into balls
Store in the fridge/freezer in an airtight container.
Nutrition per ball (as per recipe): 101kcal, 5.3g fat, 9.8g carbs, 2.5g protein, 2.2g fibre.
