This vs That - Halloumi portions
Spot the portion difference between the halloumi salad on the left (1/2 a pack) and the right (full pack). It may not look it, but there’s almost a 350kcal difference between the two!
Halloumi is awesome.
I don't know about you, but I could quite easily eat a whole packet in one meal.
BUT it's a food where adjusting the portion size can make a huge difference to the energy content of your meal.
Take my salad here for example.
If I use the whole pack of halloumi on top (pic on the right), that adds almost 800kcal to my lunch!
Whereas if I stick to 1/2 the packet (willpower required 😅) the overall energy content of my meal drops by over 350kcal.
You don't have to exclude your favourite foods, just become more aware and smart with your portion sizes.
