This vs That - baked beans

Beans are a pretty common plant based protein food choice.

They are very nutritious BUT when it comes to protein they actually contain almost three times as much carbohydrate as they do protein.

To get a minimum 20g of protein from baked beans, you'll need to eat the whole tin of beans which will get 60g of carbs - before adding any toast.

This is one of many reasons why it's often a good idea to use multiple plant protein food sources to hit your targets at each meal.

Read out my blog posts on plant based protein for more ideas.
