Mocha energy balls

With a little added caffeine kick, these wholesome mocha energy balls often keep me energised and well-fuelled on my bike rides.

I personally find that homemade energy balls (or bars) are so much more satisfying than commercially available ones. I often pop a few into my jersey pocket when training or just out on a social ride with mates.

They freeze well so make a batch and keep them in the freezer ready for your next long ride.
