19 life lessons I wish I'd learned sooner

Do you want to know how I learn from my mistakes and make faster progress towards my nutrition, personal or professional goals?

Today I’m going to share the game changing questions I ask myself and my nutrition clients to help us learn from our mistakes, change our behaviour for the better to achieve our goals faster.

Six years ago I was asked two life defining questions which I continue to use today - Where are you going? And What’s stopping you?

And I started a daily weekly and monthly reflective practice - and began to share the lessons I learned each year publicly online.

Sometimes we need to take a look back to go forwards and as I reviewed and reflected on these lessons recently and it was a good reminder to continue applying them to who and where I am today.

What reflective questions do I ask?

I’m going to share the 4 key reflective questions I want to ask yourself - because I also use these with my clients when helping them change their nutrition habits for the better.

Take some time to think and write down:

  1. What happened

  2. What went well?

  3. What didn’t go well?

  4. What do I want to keep or change moving forward?

Whether you do this once a week once a month or once a year, this is a practice that will help you learn where you can improve your life and nutrition.
