30. I know what to do but I'm not doing it - Why?

 

Have you said to yourself that you know what to do when it comes to nutrition, but you just aren't doing it?

I had a conversation with one of my new clients recently who had been experiencing gut issues in races. They knew what to do in theory. they knew that they needed approximately 60-80g carbs per hour in races, but didn't ever use any fuel or even water in their training sessions.

It always fascinates me to discover what is driving food choices for someone - indeed this is the nuts and bolts of my entire doctorate research.
